Your cake has been made with care, and a few simple steps will help it arrive beautifully. Once a cake has been picked up, its safe transport and care are the customer’s responsibility. Fleen’s cannot be responsible for damage that occurs in transit, during setup, or at home. If you have any questions, please contact us. We’re happy to help.

A little care goes a long way

Carry your cake safely

• Keep both hands flat beneath the cake box so the weight stays evenly supported.
• Hold the box from the bottom and avoid squeezing the sides, which can press into the cake.
• Keep bags, bottles, and other loose items away from the box so nothing can tip or fall onto it.
• Head directly to the cake’s final destination. Buttercream is sensitive to heat, bumps, sharp turns, and sudden stops.
• Once you arrive, keep the cake level and in a cool, climate-controlled space until it is time to serve.

Drive safely with your cake

• Place the cake on a flat, level surface in your vehicle, never on a sloped passenger seat.
• Keep the vehicle cool before loading the cake, especially in warm weather.
• Secure the box so it cannot slide, while making sure nothing presses against the sides or top.
• Take turns, slopes, stops, and bumps gently. A calm drive is the kindest thing you can do for the buttercream.
